Synopsis

In the year 1886, a young factory girl, Hattie Phelan, is no longer able to work due to her sickness. She is then sent off to live in Iowa with her aunt and uncle she has never met to heal and start a life there. Her whole life changes as she connects with friends and family, as well as face the inevitable truth that she holds bitterness towards God.
