Hello, fellow campaigners of the writing world! Here I am this week with an exciting announcement of sharing with you my favorite character ever (not really but he is so precious). Walter James Rickman is the man. Haha, joking aside, I hope you enjoy today’s post.

Name: Walter James “Wally” Rickman
DOB/Age: March 2nd, 1869 (17)
POB: Tuckerton, Iowa
Residency: Rickman Homestead (1869-)
Backstory: Walter grew up in Tuckerton, Iowa knowing nothing besides farming with her father and older brothers. But as time goes on, his older brothers, Levi (27) and Henry Jr. (25), move away to start their own lives with their wives. Wally, from a young age, picked up a larger load for work because his older brother, Nathan (18), was lazy. Before the start of the book, Kenneth (20), proposes to the girl he was courting, Pearl, leaving all the work to Walter since his 2-year-old brother cannot help.
It’s not super long, but that’s all I can say. I don’t want to give away too much regarding Wally. He is a complicated character.
