Hello, fellow campaigners of the writing world! A. F. Kopp here and I have been having an interesting thought lately. I’ve been seeing that lately, I’ve been putting my hopes in things that will always let me down.
Whether I put my hopes in friends, guys, places, schools, or careers, I’ve found that in the end I am always left hurt and disappointed. Though these things might be good things, when I place my hope in God, I can better get back up and follow Him–it isn’t as hard to fall. Things are good to pursue, but when you look at the eternal and divine side of things (that God is in control and wants the best for you), you can rest in knowing that if things don’t work out, He is leading you to a new place or season in your life that will ultimately be better for you in the end.
This is short, but it is something that keeps popping up in my mind, so here it is.
Salutations, fellow adventurers!
Respectfully,
A. F. Kopp
